We are a great Uncle and Nephew living in Australia and NJ respectively . We are trying to trace a relative (grandfather of Sayer ) who served in the Us military as a young man. Can you help us to uncover his service record, deployments, decorations and any other information) He was Ron Otis Bramble who fought in the Marines in Korea in the 1950's. Ron was born in June 1933 and died a few years ago. That is about all the information we have. Any assistance from you or referrals to other veterans associations will be much appreciated. Thanks Gareth

I am a Army Vet looking for some help for a Marine Vet friend of mine. I am writing this letter on behave a man who has had his livelihood, his ability to provide for his family taken from him. Bobby Thomas, a mechanic for Pollard Auto Body in Big Spring Texas, had his tools stolen from the Pollard on Christmas Eve, 2015. The estimated value of his tool collection was nearly $50,000. This obviously is a huge event in his and his family’s lives, but Bobby is trying to get his feet back under his-self and keep a positive outlook on life. Here is the link to the news report. www.newswest9.com/story/30922699/mechanics-out-of-work-after-burglary-in-big-springI am writing your company with hopes there might be some way you can help Bobby recover from this event. I am trying to find companies, people, someone, anyone, which can assist Bobby with replacing some of the tools lost to the thief. I like to believe there are companies and individuals with the compassion, empathy, and sympathy to reach out and help when there is a need. Bobby is too proud to ask for him self. Bobby is a great husband, father, and friend. His wife is currently six months pregnant with their third child. Bobby is a Veteran (Marine) and a proud Patriot. We, Bobby’s friends and family have started a “Go Fund m “ account to assist Bobby, but with the economic state of the West Texas region and the state of the Oil industry, the resources just are not available to get enough collected to provide any great help for Bobby. This event has taken a tremendous emotional toll on Bobby, he is such a good man, and it is hurting all his friends knowing we can be of more help to him. Please, if your company could consider assisting Bobby in some way. www.gofundme.com/34eksessPlease, if there is anything your company can do to help Mr. Thomas. Kind Regards, Tyler

Semper Fi, Marines and all Veterans. My book "Confessions of a Surviving Alien--A Memoir of a life defined by one word--Vietnam" is due out by month's end. I would appreciate any and all support from Marines and any and all Veterans by going to Facebook.com/jonmeadeauthor and if so inclined give me a LIKE. This book is really different and intense, not your typical war story, for sure. It covers my unique tour in Vietnam and my escorting deceased Marines to their final resting places. And much, much more, complete with photos and supportive documents. It comes in a two-volume book, just under 500 pages. It even has my stint as an editor in the bodybuilding/fitness circle, with interaction with Arnold that is quite fascinating. It includes a heavy divorce, kids, and even a close call of being killed by a mob guy. The story is all true, although sometimes a little hard to believe. It also includes a spiritual experience in Beverly Hills, of all places. I guarantee this is a book like none other. I feel like it aged me 5-10 years after its completion.

Bill Hilbert, an Oregon resident and Marine Corps veteran, was seriously injured on April 23 while on a family vacation in Hawaii. While swimming at Big Beach in Maui, Hilbert was hit by a huge wave and crashed into the beach. He suffered fractures in five places on his spine. He is in intensive care and at risk for pneumonia. His VA insurance originally said they cover ICU-to-ICU transfer to the Seattle Spine Center, but then changed course and said they will not pay for a transport of any kind. To have him flown will cost at least $50,000. He has no sensation below his chest, and has limited mobility in his arms and hands. The family started a page with updates at facebook.com/Pray-for-Bill-127775034294543. A fundraising page has been started at gofundme.com/billhilbert. It has a detailed description of the accident and rescue. It is likely that expenses will be very high. Any contributions would be greatly appreciated.

I am the new wife of a Marine Vet. He recently told me his Marine Corp ring was stolen some years back. Is there anyway I can replace this ring for him. He is so proud he served and this would mean the world to him. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thank you for your service.
